The Steering Group (SSG) is appointed by the ABSF Advisory Board to progress the Australian Beef Sustainability Framework (ABSF) on behalf of the beef industry.

The responsibilities of the SSG include:

» Industry consultation

» Goal promotion

» Advice on research, development and adoption

» Materiality reviews

» Synthesising research

» Developing priorities and indicators

» Representing industry’s sustainability journey
